For the Marinade:
- 🧂 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍅 1 tbsp BBQ sauce
- 🥄 1 tbsp mayonnaise/ coconut yogurt
- 🌱 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 🧄 ½ tbsp ginger paste
- 🧄 ½ tsp garlic paste
- 🌱 1 tbsp spring onion greens
- 🌻 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 🌶️ 2 tsp red chili flakes
For the Slider:
- 🌾 A block of tempeh
- 🌻 Oil
- 🍞 Pav
🔪 Method:
- 🥣 Cut tempeh into medium-sized cubes.
- 🥄 In a bowl, mix soy sauce, BBQ sauce, mayonnaise or coconut yogurt, sesame seeds, ginger paste, garlic paste, spring onion greens, sesame oil, and red chili flakes. Blend with a hand blender and keep aside.
- 🌾 Add 3/4th of the marinade to the tempeh cubes and let sit for 4 hours.
- 🍳 Once marinated, shallow fry the tempeh on both sides till they are cooked well.
- 🥪 Fill the tempeh into a loaf of pav, and drizzle some of the marinade on top if you'd like.

For an extra burst of flavor, you can toast the pav with some butter or vegan margarine before filling with the tempeh.
